My name is TJ Ireland. I' am a person who chooses to live my life in sustained recovery since April 9th , 2024. What that means to me is being abstinent from all mind-altering substances. My journey hasn't been easy - I went from active addiction to spending time in multiple jails and institutions to eventually entering the Colorado Department of Corrections. I stayed in what I thought recovery was for 10 years and then I lost my son to suicide which sent me spiraling down the rabbit hole for another 9 years into my addiction. I have been to three different community correction programs four different times. It was while in ATC (Advantage Treatment Centers) that I began my true path to recovery. Today, I live my life in service, helping others see that there is a different way - a way out, a way forward, and a way toward hope. I' am the voice for every friend I have ever lost!!
