Jules Wells CPFS
Denver Metro Regional Manager
Hi! My name is Jules Wells (she/her). I joined AFRC as a Peer Recovery Coach Supervisor in 2025. I have been working in the field since 2016 and am passionate about the value of peer work. I have been in recovery for over eight years. My recovery began after waking up from a coma due to opiate use and was permanently physically impacted. While learning how to walk again I began to work on my wellness and recovery. I started to move towards what I wanted and away from what I didn’t and found love, community, connection and creativity. Throughout this thing we call life, I have self-published three poetry books, Into The Heart, Calling The Soul Home and The Journey Within. I am a lover of nature, the arts and deep conversations. You may find me on a bike, riding with an awesome cat companion.
I cherish the peer frame work and have years of experience working as a peer recovery coach. I have had the wonderful opportunity to curate peer programs, introduce harm reduction groups and work alongside those who understand.
AFRC has a special place in my heart because of the team, their mission and the positive impact they have for peer programs, training and those seeking support.
