AFRC Management Team
Angela became a participant of AFRC in 2020 and transitioned to volunteer in 2021. In 2022, Angela was hired as a Peer Recovery Coach for the AFRC Sterling location.
Jody has been working for the peer support field since 2012. He has been with AFRC since September 2024.
Sean joined AFRC in January 2025 as the Regional Manager of the Gateway to the Rockies program. He has been in active and sustained recovery since 2013. Previous experience includes working for Colorado’s peer-crisis support line, teaching vulnerable and at-risk youth, and instructing English in community colleges.
Valentina found Advocates for recovery in 2021 . She was a participant and volunteered before becoming a Peer Recovery Coach in 2022 for the Delta/Montrose area. Valentina became the Southwest Regional Manager for Advocates for Recovery Colorado in January 2025.
Jules Wells joined AFRC as a Peer Recovery Coach Supervisor in 2025. She has been in recovery and wellness for over eight years. Jules is passionate about harm reduction, the peer framework and connection.
Jared has been in active and sustained recovery since 2020. He joined the AFRC Denver family in July of 2023.
