PSP BRANCH—A Recipe for Recovery: PSP BRANCH & CHEF

About This Event

This October, PSP BRANCH is serving up something special: “A Recipe for Recovery” in collaboration with CHEF.

We’re gathering Peer Support Professionals around the table for food, storytelling, and authentic connection. This isn’t your typical networking mixer—it’s about flavor, creativity, and the ingredients that make recovery work thrive.

The Menu for the Day:

11:00–11:30 | Munchies & Arrivals – Grab a bite and settle in.

11:30–12:00 | Jeff & Cheyenne of The Chef’s Table – Founders and visionaries behind the program share the meaning behind their work and how culinary artistry fuels workforce development.

12:00–12:30 | Storytelling – Peer voices matter most. Hear lived experience and recovery journeys, including Tommy & Dee (a CHEF student) sharing their powerful story.

12:30–1:00 | Mingle & Network – Close out with connection, collaboration, and maybe a few new recipes for recovery in your own work.

This event is for Peer Support Professionals only. Peer Supervisors, Directors, Managers and folx with boots on the ground, come ready to taste what happens when collaboration is the main course!

A Mid-Summers Night ECHO

A boundary is intentional and essential: this space is not open to supervisors, managers, directors, or leadership, regardless of their alignment or support for the mission.

Because this is where hierarchy steps out so humanity can step in. It’s a chance for those doing the heart-work to let down their guard without filtering for oversight, evaluation, or organizational politics. I kindly ask that we all hold this boundary firmly, in service of the healing it’s meant to provide.

ZOOM - Peer Support Professionals Meeting (E.C.H.O.)

Every FRIDAY - 7:30AM

PSP ECHO is an acronym for Peer Support Professionals Empowering Community Helping Others. This is a safe meeting space for Peer Support Professionals *only*. Meaning, No participants. No supervisors. No administrators.

ECHO is meant for Peer workers from all walks (recovery, mental health, unhoused, veteran, etc.) to come together for support, networking, resources, and collaboration. This is a brave place where we are given the space to vent, ask questions, and be there for one another.

We need definitive space away from those we support so we can fulfill our own needs. For more information contact D. Waldron
